Tutorial Tuesday - Art journal page with 3D flowers by Melina

Hi!

It´s Melina here on Tutorial Tuesday with a cute little art journal page for you.
I made this page on The Paper Crafting Cyber Crop event on Scrapbooking day a few days ago.
I was one of the Cyber Crop Ambassadors and Bibi was one of the generous sponsors.
I thought it would be fun to share it with you today.

I work on a white/greyboard page from That´s Crafty in A6 size.
I start to apply a layer of gesso. I water down some Distress Oxides and add as a soft
background layer.

I want some bright colours, so I decide to use my Sharpies (that I have almost never used).
I stamp the flowers and leaves from Crazy Flowers #1 using a alcohol friendly ink pad.

I colour all the flowers and leaves and cut them out. I cut one layer from each flower and build them up using 3D pads. I stamp the quote from the Something Wonderful stamp set and heat emboss it with differend colours of embossing powder.
Finally I add some details with a black Posca pen and my page is done.

Rubber Dance stamps used:

Others:
Sharpies
Distress oxides
Embossing powder from Fabrika Decoru
Memento Tuxedo black

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
xx Melina
