CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - 2nd Card by Bibi

Hi everyone! When I first joined this week's CASology challenge a couple of days ago (here), I started another card right afterwards. I just love the theme this week - STITCH - so here's my 2nd entry:

The only stamp used is the vintage spool from the Sew Sweet set. I stitched a black thread going from the spool thought the stitched frame (die from Elizabeth Craft Design), and the thread hangs loose up to the black button where I tied an extra knot. The text is computer made.

My card was made out of three different white cardstock (slightly different hues), and two of the panels were raised up with foam tape for added interest. I wrote a personal note inside and will place the card on my sweetheart's work desk so he'll see it when he comes home from work ♥
(This way, my card serves two purposes - maybe even three if I get lucky.... hawhaw!)

I'm entering my card to this challenge:

Thanks for looking!

 Love,
Bibi

Isn't he more likely to think "What has she got to get forgiven for?"...
A great CAS card with lots of interest through layers. And SO white... especially for you Bibi!

*chuckles* He's more likely to think "She must have joined another card challenge..." (yup, he knows me too well). Anyway - yes, it is very white for me! Hmmm, I wonder how more white I can go...
Thanks, darling Craftyfield! ♥

Wow, this is like "art meets real world" as you mixed stamped images and real items! I love how the stamped spool leads to real thread and a button! Fun, FUN! Thanks for playing along at CASology again!

Thank you, Joyce! ♥ Once the spool was down, the rest happened by itself :)

Thanks, Judy! ♥ I think this is only the second time ever that I have used real thread on a card. It was fun to make :)

Hello Bibi: I was checking the CASology challenge to see if anybody entered more cards and yours just popped out of my screen!!! how beautiful the spool and black thread looks with the pristine white background!! I love that you actually stitched over the stitched die and connected this thread to the black button, this is such a beautiful detail.
I'm Pinning your card, it's beautiful.
Thank you for sharing.
Hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.

Thank you, darlin'! ♥ It's really nice to get an honourable mention, especially since I'm quite new at this CAS concept. My first card was in June, but I got hooked right away! :)
