Gone to the Beach - Mixed Media Canvas by Susanne

Hello everyone! Today I'd like to show you a lovely canvas made by Susanne on the DT. She posted this on her own blog a few weeks ago, but I want to show it here as well in case you don't follow her blog and missed it:

Susanne says, "One of my favourite themes to create with is: beach and nautical elements. I used several stamp sets from Rubber Dance on this canvas. I love that they can be combined in so many ways.  Especially the new "Round in Circles" set! I can see them on my Christmas creation in the upcoming season already!"

You'll find the video tutorial at the end of this post, but first some details:

The background of the sentiment tag is coloured with Distress Ink, Walnut Stain.
The speckles were achieved by misting some water on top of the ink.

The chain on top is covered with Fran-tage embossing enamel "aged silver".
The anchor below is covered with Fran-tage embossing enamel "aged aqua".
Susanne also added a tiny little bit of "peeled paint" Distress embossing powder.
"Brushed corduroy" Distress embossing powder was used on the sea shell.

Here is Susanne's quick and easy-to-follow tutorial video: https://youtu.be/wAAEMO4Yd4M

All stamps by Rubber Dance, from these sets/sheets:
Round in Circles
Something Fishy
Travel
Retro Beach
Vintage Postcard
Collage Elements 1
Something Wonderful (Sentiments)
- which you can find in the web shop:

So, what do you think? Leave Susanne a comment below :-)
